Celebrity TV Therapist Dr. Phil McGraw and CBS have settled a lawsuit by two women stemming from the surprise appearance of a naked man on an episode of "The Dr. Phil House." As Nakedism reported last May, the women claimed they were traumatized by the presence of the nude male and sued for fraud an intentional infliction of emotional distress.
But as reported on the entertainment news site TMZ, the case has been settled out of court. The terms of the deal have not been released, leading TMZ to conclude that confidentiality was part of the agreement.
Nakedism hopes that the settlement included — preferably exclusively — an offer of therapy for the women to help them overcome fear of the human body in its natural state.
