Every bride and groom expect their wedding day to be something they'll always remember. But that wasn't good enough for Melanie Schachner, 26, and Rene Schachner, 31. To ensure a thoroughly memorable experience, they decided to conduct their nuptials in the buff.
The ceremony was held in a register office service in Feldkirchen, Austria, followed by a reception in a nearby castle. Some 250 guests were invited. Only the bride and groom stripped down.
According to the Daily Mail, the bride was not entirely nude. She wore a traditional white veil, white high heels, and a flesh-colored thong.
The groom, however, was completely naked. Only when posing for wedding pictures did he cover his genitals with a top hat.
"We're not ashamed of our bodies and we wanted to do something different," Melanie remarked. "It certainly saved on a wedding dress."
Nakedism applauds this positive example of wholesome public nudity.
