The eye-catching lede springs from her recent video blog in which she muses on how nudity would prevent television appearances from becoming dated."Maybe we should be more timeless," she jokes to some on-camera staff. "We should just wear a classic black suit all the time. Or just always nudity. That way it's always in style.... From now on, all television spots I'd like to be nude so that I will always be timeless."
The hit singer and performance artist then covers her breasts with her hands, pantomiming a naked TV announcement.
Despite the attention the comments garnered in various culture reporting, it's clear from the video that the entertainer is engaging in nothing more than light-hearted speculation.
Of course, it doesn't take much experience with nudism to point out that even when naked, hair styles can date you as much as clothing.
Nevertheless, Nakedism applauds Lady Gaga for some nude-positive comments, which are far too lacking in our nakedphobic culture.
